Hallander, 22, made his NHL debut last season, playing in a single game with the Penguins. The move follows the assignment of Drew O’Connor to the AHL yesterday. The Pittsburgh Penguins, mired in a seven-game losing streak, have recalled Filip Hallander from the minor leagues.
